Agatha Cecilia (Ell) Senger passed away on October 13 at the age of 94. She was at home surrounded by her family when she went to be with our Lord.
Agatha was the sixth child, of eleven, born to Michael Ell and Mary Eva Schatz in McHenry County North Dakota. She lived on the family farm until she married Leo Senger on Nov 20, 1944. Together they had 10 children. They lived in and around Minot North Dakota until moving west in 1964 where they rented a small farm outside of Eugene. In 1967 they moved to Portland and eventually built a house outside of Milwaukie, where she lived until her death.
She worked all of her life, first for her parents and then to support her own growing family. She always made sure that there was good food on the table and that everyone knew that they were loved. Her hobbies were her roses, her garden, baking bread, and spending time with her grand children.
She is survived by one sister, Mary Heit, of Yakima Washington. She was preceded in death by Leo, by her first born infant daughter Patricia, by her eldest son Roy, and by her eldest grandson Terry Schoonover. She is survived by: daughters Diane (Norman) Strasser, MaryAnn Schoonover, Janice Lemere, and Linda (Kenneth) Jayne; sons Ronald (Marilyn), Mark (Janice), John, and Francis; grandchildren Shaun, Theresa, Kristina, Lindsey, Scott, Michael, Jacob, Daniel, Shannon, Tanya, Natasha, William, Matthew, and Jeremy; great grandchildren Tristan, Amelia, Lily, Dakota, Camrin, Jaxson, Emma, Mark, Sheldon, Andrew, Kayla, Brianna, Jordan, Britney, and Mailee.
