Barbara J. Robirds

Barbara passed on Thursday, November 3rd after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born September 30, 1934 to Zigmund and Henrietta Spitulski in Portland, Oregon. She married Richard Lee Robirds on September 29, 1956. She was preceded in death by Richard in 1997 and her granddaughter Kristen in 2015. She is survived by her children, Michael of Portland, Kevin of Humble, TX and Laurie Mulcahy of Warren, OR; her Grandchildren, Mychol, Ashley, Breanne, JR, Mariah and Bryce; and her great grandchildren, Jayden, Kimara, Christopher, Aiden and Kira. Barbara was loved by her family and an inspiration to all. Selfless is a common word used when describing her. She loved deeply, her family the most. She was a dedicated Grandma who never wanted to miss school functions and sporting events, even as recently as one month before her death. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Sunday, November 20, 2016 at 1:30 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 3910 SE 11th Ave, Portland, OR 97202 preceded by the Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 1:00 pm. A reception will follow the Mass. Interment and final committal will be Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at 11:30 AM at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 19th from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at Wilhelm's Portland Memorial Funeral Home, 6705 SE 14th, Portland, OR 97202.
