Beverly Ann Browne-Sumner

Born in Grafton, North Dakota to Francis & Jeanette Sevigny. She graduated HS May 1955 and married January 1957. Bev will be interred next to Dean Sumner, the love of her life, at Portland Memorial Mausoleum. They were married December 26, 1969 until his death on February 14, 1975. She later married Dan Browne in Feb 1989, who passed in Dec 1995. Survived by: Daughter, Barbara and husband Paul Beatty; son, Danny Sumner and wife Janice, and daughter, Debra Sumner; Brother, Keith Sevigny; sister, Charlene Musgrave; grand children, Krystal, Nathan, & Nicholas; great granddaughter, Lucy; step grandchildren, Scotty & Erika; stepdaughter, Darlene, and stepsons, Darrell & Daniel. She was proceeded in death by her parents Francis & Jeanette Sevigny, brothers Duane and David, sister Paulette; & son Randy. Bev grew up on a working farm in Grafton, North Dakota with her parents and five siblings. She moved to Portland, Oregon in 1967 and has been a resident of Milwaukie, Oregon since 1978. During her lifetime Bev worked numerous jobs: Jantzens, Dry Cleaners, Carpentry, Foster Parenting, Molded Container, Waitressing/Bartending, Caregiver for her mother, Open Houses, Estate Sales, and Events at the Clubhouse. Bev was awarded by the Senior Citizens Board of Clackamas County for “Outstanding Volunteer” for numerous hours of volunteer service. Service Information
