Bonny Lee Payne

Bonny Bauer Payne Jan. 2, 1938 - Nov. 27, 2013 Bonny L. Payne was born in Salem, Oregon to Rex Z. Bauer and Marjorie Kerr Bauer. Bonny passed away at her home in Milwaukie after a 4 year battle with cancer surrounded by family and friends. Bonny graduated from Cleveland High School and attended Portland State. She wanted a career in design and to explore her creative side but ended up in business. She was a Sales and Property Tax Supervisor for Pacific Corp financial Services and belonged to many professional organizations in Portland. She was one of two people in Oregon that belonged to The Institute of Property Taxation. She had many business qualities and successes. She is survived by her children, Holly Payne of Germantown, Maryland and her son, Robert M. Payne of Portland, her brother, Donald R. Bauer of Santa Ana, California, and her grandchildren, Mackenzie Rae Nickelson and James Michael Kazunas. Bonny loved books and reading, she loved to sew and was always working on a project, she had a great sense of humor and wonderful personality, she was a great listener, she loved her family and friends, she will be truly missed. A memorial service with be held in the chapel at Wilhelm's Portland Memorial Funeral Home on December 5, 2013 at 11:00 am with reception to follow at Bonny's home on S.E.
