Brian passed away peacefully while in the care of Farmington Square Care Center in Beaverton Oregon, while under the care of Kindred Hospice. Preceding Brian in death was Brian’s Wife, Best friend and love of his life of 30 plus years, Mary Kathryn McLaughlin; his Father, John J McLaughlin; Mother, Margaret Otte; Brother, John G McLaughlin, and; Sisters, Alice Armstrong and Diane Boyle. Brian has four Step Children, Mary Gulosh, David Gulosh, Sandy Boardman and Debra Everts; four Grandchildren, Annie Ransom, Joe Gulosh, Ashley Alverado, Emily Everts and two Great Granddaughters, Summer and Kendle Gulosh. Brian has Nieces and Nephews, Patrick, Ann, Robert and Mike Boyle; Scott, Rex, Todd, Jaime and Craig Armstrong; Kim, John, Bruce and Mike McLaughlin and; Sandy Wilske-Charles Coleman. Brian Ambrose McLaughlin was born in Chicago Illinois, grew up in Chicago, moved to Salem, Oregon where he attended Salem High School and graduated from University of Arizona. He was in the Army, stationed at Fort George G Meade Maryland, 5th ARTY Rockville Maryland. His field of service was an Electrical Engineer. Later hired by RCA he spent much of his time on the ships using his talents to repair the telescopes for the Army. He traveled all around the world and had many stories to tell. He loved Classical Music, Beethoven, Bach and Mozart. He enjoyed going to Estate Sales and picking up treasures. He loved family and believed Whole heartedly in giving.
