Carol Ann Fazzio, 85, of Portland, Oregon, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2026.
Carol was born April 14, 1940. She graduated with honors from Girls Polytechnic High School and was runner-up for Rose Festival Princess. She later dedicated her life to helping others, earning her master’s degree in Social Work and building a meaningful career as a social worker for the State of Oregon. Through her work and personal life, Carol was known for her compassion, kindness, and unwavering commitment to supporting those around her.
Carol was deeply devoted to her Catholic faith and remained active in her spiritual life throughout the years. Her faith guided her values of service, generosity, and care for others.
Above all else, Carol loved her family and friends wholeheartedly. She will be remembered for her warm heart, gentle spirit, and the way she made those around her feel supported and loved.
Carol is survived by her daughter, Michelle Jensen (Karl); her son, Troy Fazzio (Joy); her grandchildren, Lauren Jensen and Elizabeth Hall (Ries); and her great-grandchild, Alfonso Hall. She was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Innocenti. Carol was previously married to Donald C. Fazzio.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in Carol’s memory.
Carol’s compassion, faith, and love for her family will be remembered always.
A funeral Mass will be held at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 5105 SW Franklin Ave., Beaverton, OR, on April 9, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.
