Clyde "Doug" Linquist

Doug Graduated from Franklin High School and started in the optical business at the age of 15 delvering eyeglasses for Columbian Bifocal. He also worked wholesale and retail optical owning and operating Frame Specialites in Oregon City, Custom Eye Glass repair and The Eyeglass Man in Portland, repairing and creating custom eyeglasses. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and backpacking in the high lakes in the Cascades. His favorite place to fish was out of Depoe Bay for salmon and bottom fish. He was a four wheeler who loved a challange and loved the great outdoors. He is survived by is wife, Sue, sons; Robert, Joseph, Ronald, Stepson Damon, and dauhgter Deborah, eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
