Colin Bernard Veach

Colin B. Veach passed away at his home at the age of 88. He was the son of Ronald and Jeanne Garon Veach and along with his brother, Richard and sister, Patricia grew up in Portland. He attended and graduated from Washington High School. Colin married Patricia Bevan in 1949. They had 3 children, James, David and Janis Veach. At the time of Patricia’s passing they had been married for 53 years. Colin became a Portland Police Officer in 1951 and served in Portland for years. Colin served and retired from the Oregon Air National Guard after 38 years of service. Colin is survived by his son David Veach, and daughter Janis (Mike) Veach-Huwaldt and has 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Rest in Peace, Dad.
