Doloris passed away from ALS. ALS took many things from her but it never took her smile from her face or her twinkle from her eyes.
Doloris had a wonderful life with her husband of 54 years Raymond by her side.
They meet on a blind date and after 3 years of dating they got married raised two daughters.
Doloris was a stay at home mom. She wanted to be home for her children so she had a in home daycare for many years.
When her children grew up she started doing alterations for the Elite Cleaners in Oregon City. Doloris was a long time member of the Oregon City evangelical church (50+years) where she was a Sunday school teacher for many years. She loved music. She sang and played her guitar along side her twin sister Doris their whole life, it was a love her father past down to them. Along with the Herring family band they played every Friday at the Oregon City Senior Citizen Center for 10 years. It was a sad day when the ALS took her ability away to play her guitar and as the ALS progressed it also took with it her voice. Until the day she past she so enjoy her good friend and band member Marv picking her up every Friday night to go to her childhood home and listen to what she called her music family play.
Doloris was loved by many and is survived by her husband Raymond L Rogers, Twin sister Doris Masterson and her husband Mike, daughters Doris Allphin and her husband Forest, Sandra Hargitt and her husband Larry. Her pride and joys granddaughter Kristina Hargitt and Grandson Michael Hargitt. Her 3 step grandchildren Patricia, William and Christina Ash.
