Ella Mae Winkenweder

Ella Mae Winkenweder Seattle – Ella Mae (Powell) Winkenweder, 97, a loving mother died of natural causes, Wednesday, June 11th, 2014. At request, there will be no services. Ella Mae was born in a log cabin on her parents’ ranch in the Bear Paw Mountains of Montana. On Feb. 16, 1938 she married Clarence Winkenweder. In 1945, they moved to Portland, Oregon where they raised their two boys. In 1966 they retired moving to Otis, Oregon and eventually, McMinnville, Oregon. They enjoyed traveling south to Death Valley for the winters. Survivors include sons Robert of Clovis, NM and Kenneth of Seattle, WA; 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and one great great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Winkenweder in 1989. Service Information
