FRANCIS “FRANK” TALBOT MURPHY: 1949-2013, Frank Murphy passed on to the next life unexpectedly in his sleep on November 26, 2013. Frank was born March 17, 1949 in Roseburg, Oregon to Joseph “Brooks” and LaVina (Rohledder) Murphy. Frank attended grade, middle, and high schools in Roseburg, graduating from Roseburg High in 1967. During his last year at RHS he was voted as the “Most Likely to Succeed” of his senior class. After high school Frank attended the University of Oregon, becoming a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity and graduating with a B.A. in Journalism. After college Frank moved to Portland where he held a handful of sales & customer service positions. Frank most recently was an avid volunteer at The Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI). Frank is survived by his brother Larry (Mary) Hink of Coos Bay, Oregon; his nephews Jim Hink of North Bend, Oregon and Michael (Carla) Hink of Boise, Idaho; and many cousins, friends, and acquaintances. Frank was one who could put a smile on anyone's face—his positive and contagious personality was one of a kind! He loved and encouraged all as God's creations, seeing every human being as worthy of extreme respect. Memorial contributions can be made to South Coast Horizons, 320 Central Ave, Coos Bay, OR 97420. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. ------------ Service Information
