George Keith Shields

George Shields, age 84 died September 24, 2015 of complications related to cancer at Good Samaritan Hospital in Portland, Or. He was born November 10, 1930 in McMinnville Or, and died September 24, 2015. George was a practical, sharp-witted and respectful man. He was a good listener and had a great sense of humor. George grew up on the family farm in Rickreall, OR, and graduated from Amity High School in 1949. Then George served his country during the Korean war in the US Navy, and worked as a locksmith for 30 years at Oregon State University. He is survived by his brother Gary, several cousins, nieces and nephews and many loving friends. Remembrance will take place Sunday October 4, 2015 at 2:00pm at Moreland Presbyterian Church. 1814 SE Bybee Blvd. Portland OR. 97202.
