May 18, 1954 — March 2, 2018

On March 2, 2018, Gloria Jean Moreno, known to all as Jeanny, passed away at home at the age of 63. Jeanny will be forever remembered by her son Michael Clark, 39, and daughter Sandra Clark, 40, by her granddaughter Juno, and by her brothers Lonnie, Larry, and Tommy, sister Karen, cousin Wanda, and many others cousins, nieces, and nephews in the extended Killebrew family. She will also be missed by her beloved daughter-in-law Jill Clark and son-in-law Mark Armstrong and lifelong mentors Kay and Darryl Armstrong. She graduated from Fort Campbell High School in western Kentucky in 1972 and became a 911 dispatcher with the local police partment until 1986. She and her two children moved to Portland in 1987, where she continued to work as a public servant. She worked for the City of Portland until April 2017 and was respected by her many coworkers and friends there. Jeanny loved to garden and tend to a boisterous and large family of hummingbirds that she fed diligently for years. Her granddaughter Juno was a special light in her life. She was fiercely independent and loyal, and changed the lives of everyone close to her. She is preceded in death by her mother, Betty Jean Killebrew of Hopkinsville, Kentucky.
