Grace Virginia Blixt

Grace Virginia (Bausch) Blixt, Devoted Wife, Mother and Grandmother Grace Virginia Blixt went to be with her eternal father, Tuesday March 31th, 2015, at the age of 88. She passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 9th, 1926 in Helena, Montana, to Albert M. and Dena V. Bausch. In 1946, she married her first and only love Paul Harold Blixt. They moved to Portland, Oregon, after Paul finished school in Montana. Paul and Grace were married for 63 years. Grace faithfully served her in her church, Kern Park Christian Church, and her community. She loved reading her bible and teaching bible studies, specifically end-time scripture. She is survived by her children; Susan Bottler and Debbie (Bob) Bleile, her grand-children; Sherry Perkins, Brandon Bottler, Crystal (Scott) Hubley and Erin (James) Nygren and her great grand-children; Stephan Burns, Cian Perkins, Griffin Hubley, Samantha Nygren, Macy Grace Hubley and Cora Nygren. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul Blixt and her great grand-daughter, Amanda Reynolds. Grace is resting eternally next to her husband at Wilhelm’s Portland Memorial Mausoleum. A celebration of life will be held at 3pm on Saturday, May 2nd, 2015, at Kern Park Christian Church, 6828 SE Holgate Blvd, Portland. All friends are welcome. Service Information
