Kae T. Schmidt

Kae T. Schmidt January 11, 1931 – October 10, 2013 Kae was born in Portland, Oregon and passed away in Molalla, Oregon at the age of 82. She was a member of the U.S. Air Force from 1952 – 1955. After being discharged she came back to Portland and started work at Standard Ins. until 1960. She then worked for the Federal State Department Foreign Service from 1960 – 1966. Upon leaving the Foreign Service she was employed at the Portland Air Base as a communication equipment operator until 1989 when she retired. Kae was an active member of the Oregon City and Woodburn United Methodist Church. Her parents, Ida Belle and Theodore Schmidt predeceased her. She is survived by brothers, Arthur and Carl (Donna) Schmidt, sister, Rachel Groner, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and great-great nieces. Service Information
