Lois Annadell Burns

Lois (Blakely) Burns was born June 30, 1920. She passed away October 10, 2012. Raised in Milwaukie, she attended Milwaukie Union High School. Shortly after graduation she married Thomas Earle Blakely. They had three daughters. Thomas Earle passed away on February 16, 1978. Lois retired from Dwyer Community Hospital (now Providence Milwaukie Hospital). She then married Reginald Burns. They spent many summers fishing on the Siletz River. Reg passed away on September 11, 1996. The last five years of her life, Lois lived and was loved at the L & C Adult Foster Home. The family would like to thank Lidia and Constantin for taking such loving care of her. Lois is survived by her daughters, Roberta Anne Markle (Gary); Rona Petersen (Doug); and Sue Bradley (Monte); 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Services will be Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Wilhelm's Portland Memorial Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Bristal Hospice, LLC, 10365 S.E.
