Margaret Mary Peters

Margaret was born Margaret Mary Evans in Brooks, Oregon to Gaines Williams Evans & Hazel Marie (Randall) Evans. Her sister was Doris Jeanne Evans. She was raised in the Newberg, Oregon, Yamhill County area most of her childhood. She resided in Sherwood, Oregon for the majority of her adult life. She was married to Gerald James Fitch and had 3 children, Kerry Fitch, Steve Fitch and Lisa (Fitch) Burch. She was married to Spencer V. Lantz in 1968 until his death in 1972. She later married Nick F. Peters in 1979 until his passing in 2007. Margaret passed away unexpectedly on June 15, 2016. She enjoyed reading, flowers and loved people. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother and grandmother; she will be greatly missed. She is survived by her 3 children, 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. There will be a graveside service on Monday, 6/27/2016, 9:00 a.m. at Willamette National Cemetery, Portland, OR. Service Information
