Martin Kelly Fox

Martin “Marty” Fox 63, of Portland, Oregon, passed away on October 12th, 2019. He was Born on April 11th, 1956, to Alice Fox, in Portland, OR. He attended James Madison High school in Portland, Oregon, where he graduated with the class of 1974. Marty married the love of his life, Laurie Fox, on May 3, 2017; They were married in DisneyWorld the happiest place on earth. Marty was a jack of all trades recently working the last several years for Northwest Traffic Control. He is proceeded in death by his mother Alice Fox. Marty is survived by his wife Laurie Fox; his step daughter Katie Burrell and Payton of Hampton, VA; Grandchildren Josilyn Lopez, Natalie Lopez and Skyler Burrell of Hampton, VA; siblings Sandra Spradling and Darryl, Sister Christine Bristow, Brother Paul Fox and Trudy; along with his many amazing nephews and nieces. Marty loved being outdoors fishing, hunting, hiking and camping. He also adored being with his family and many friends. He passed doing what he loved, hunting in the wilderness near the scappoose Vernonia Hwy. He will be truly missed by his close friends and family as he was the best example of a true and treasured friend. Many people will attest that he was truly the kindest, most caring and best friend in the world. Once you were his friend it was absolutely forever. A Celebration of Martin's Life will be held at 3:00 pm, Saturday, October 26, 2019 at the Happy Valley Baptist Church, 14095 SE King Rd, Happy Valley, OR 97086
