Monica Ann Weimer

Monica Weimer was born April 26, 1928 in Shakopee, Minnesota to Auggie and Winona Schesso. Monica was married to Bud Weimer and they raised their family in Portland, OR. Bud worked at the family’s Weimer Furniture locations in Portland and Lincoln City. Monica worked at Frederick & Nelson for many years, was active in the Catholic Church throughout her life and later volunteered with Meals on Wheels in her community. She was intelligent, bright, creative, funny, and a fan of the art of conversation. Her kitchen held many memories; no one went hungry in her house. Animals loved her and she loved them, especially dogs. Monica was preceded in death by sons, John and Mark; husband Bud; and sister Mary Elizabeth. She is survived by sons, David, Dan (Elena) and Michael; grandson Ian (Jennifer) and four great-grandchildren; brother Joe; one niece; two nephews; and pets, Bundy, Pinky and Millie. A Funeral Mass will be held for Monica Weimer on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at 11:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Please leave a condolence for the family. Service Information
