Nancy Rose Carr

Nancy Rose Carr was born April 25, 1923 in Portland, Oregon the daughter of Hazel and Edward Hopper. Nancy passed away June 16, 2016 at the age of 93 in Clackamas, Oregon. Nancy graduated in 1941 from Commerce High School. She married John Arthur Carr Sr in November 1943. In 1962, Nancy and her husband Art, purchased Tupper Florist in S.E. Portland. Nancy retired in 1985. Nancy enjoyed traveling, gardening, and was also an active member of the Rose City Model T Club for many years. She especially loved going to the Oregon Coast and crabbing and clamming. Nancy is survived by her two children, John A Carr Jr, and Wendy Merritt (Carr). At Nancy's request no funeral services will be held. Remembrances may be made to the Oregon Humane Society.
