Pat was born in Minneapolis to Ivan and Kalise Carlson. At the age of 1, the family moved back to Seattle. She grew up there, befriending the two brothers who lived two doors down, later marrying the older one.
She got her degree from the U of W. She married Guyot Frazier April 9, 1950 in Lafayette, Ind. Her last job was working for the Social Security Claims Department. After an early retirement, she enjoyed traveling, visiting many countries, including Africa in 2007.
In 2012, she was placed in a care facility after having a feeding tube put in her stomach. After eight months there, with the help of a good team of caregivers, she was able to return to her home to live out the remainder of her life. Despite her restrictions she remained grateful and appreicative of many things in life.
She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Melvin and Dwayne; and a sister, Vivian. She is survived by a nephew, Dale; nieces, Kalise, Jill and Joyce; brother-in-law, Lee; and several cousins.
An informal gathering will be held at the Wilhelm's Portland Memoial Funeral Home in Portland, Wednesday, the 28th of August, at 7:00 pm and a graveside service will be Friday, the 30th of August, at 1:00 pm at the Odd Fellows Memorial Park Cemetery in Tumwater, Washington.
