Richard J. Macpherson

Richard passed at home following a long hard fought battle with cancer. While we were not ready to lose him, we know that he is now at peace and we're thankful that he is no longer suffering. He was a loving husband of 45 years to wife Lorna Lovett MacPherson, father to Amanda MacPherson-Winterton and Chad MacPherson, grandfather, brother, and uncle. Richard grew up in Portland and after graduating from Centennial High School he served in the US Coast Guard. He and his wife lived in Gresham for the last 39 years and he retired after 26 years from Boeing of Portland. Richard will be remembered for the love he gave his family and the sense of humor that he shared with everyone. A memorial service will be held Friday, October 21 at 2:00 PM at Trinity Lutheran Church, 507 W Powell Blvd, Gresham, Or. 97030. Service Information
