Robert Thomas Wilhelmi

Robert T. Wilhelmi, son of John S. and Anna (Resch) Wilhelmi born March 7, 1923 in Nekoma, North Dakota, passed away on March 27, 2015 at 92 in Portland, Oregon. Robert attended Nekoma Grade School and graduated from Nekoma High School in 1941. He farmed with this father in the Nekoma area for many years before moving to Portland, Oregon in 1950. He retired from Garrett Freightliner in 1985. Robert was member of St John Fisher Catholic Church for 34 years. He did volunteer work for St. Vincent DePaul Society and was a Gallon Club Blood Donor for the Red Cross. He loved ballroom dancing, camping and traveling, and enjoyed working in his yard and flower garden. Robert is survived by sister-in-laws Mary Ann (Bachman) Wilhelmi, Ilia Mae (Loff) Wilhelmi, and Linda Wilhelmi and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, Tony, Betty Dreher, Barbara Brown, Walter, Victor, Conrad, Cyril and Richard and half-brothers and half-sisters Margaret Fetsch, Joe, Bill, Eva Schill, and Edward.
