Ruth Helena Schmidling

Ruth Helena Schmidling passed early Saturday morning August 22, 2015 at her home in Milwaukie, OR. She is survived by her son Richard M Miller and his wife Bonnie L Miller. Her 3 grandchildren Tod Miller, Dawn Roberts and Lynn Miller. 3 great grandsons Dalton Roberts, Cole Roberts and Henry Miller-Smith. Her 3 nieces, Marilyn Lau, Lea Mignone and Della Swartz. She predeceased by her father and mother Henry and Emma Henriksen. brother Dale Henriksen, Her sister Verna Habel. Ruth was a loving person to all she knew. She retired from John Deere in February 1st, 1981 after 25 yrs. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Portland, OR where she loved to volunteer. She spent a lot of her free time gardening at her home and she loved to go walking. Service Information
