William Dean Mcintosh

August 14, 1936 — January 17, 2017

William Dean McIntosh was born in Hays, Kansas on August 14, 1936. When he was young boy his family moved to Oregon. They settled in West Linn where he lived for 75 years of his life. Bill graduated from WLHS in 1955. In 1956 he married his high school sweetheart, Eunice Smith. Shortly after their marriage they settled in West Linn where they lived a full life raising their 4 children Teresa, Cheryl, Karen and Bill. In October Bill suffered a debilitating stroke. His strong body held on until January 17, 2017 where he died peacefully in his adult care home. He is remembered by his family as a hardworking provider, frequent storyteller, fellow Cub fan, Monday night football addict and "Starkey" hunter. In a celebration of his life his family will be hosting an open house gathering of friends and family on February 12 from 11am to 1pm at the Sunset Fire Hall in West Linn (2215 Long St). A light lunch will be provided. Service Information
